Recognizing Jesus in All People

Faith in Action

As a church we have many varied opportunities to reach out to others in our community. YOU are invited to serve in anyone of these missions

Rescue Mission - a group of people, headed by Dwain & Robyn Munyan, ride Max to The Rescue Mission one Thursday night a month to serve meals to homeless people.

SnoCap - an East County service to low income persons. SnowCap has an ongoing need for food and warm clothing. There are so many more people out of work and they just need a little help to get by for now. If everyone brought one can of food every Sunday, that would be a lot of food in the basket!  Also, Santiam  lables, egg cartons, paper bags, and even money.  We collect laundry supplies, canned foods, boxed staples, toiletries, diapers, blankets, clothes, socks, gloves, mittens,  coats, toys.

Daybreak Shelter - Faith serves as an overnight host to up to 15 persons five to six times  per year.  They stay overnight at Faith, we supply dinner, breakfast, transportation to the Day Center where counselors assist them in job  searches, housing.  Normally people are in the shelter for a month to two months.

A  VERY  IMPORTANT STEP TO GETTING BACK INTO A HOME OF THEIR OWN.

Backpack Buddies -  We supply & pack lunches for children at our neighborhood school for the weekends.
